28 fantastic pictures from Salford’s We Invented the Weekend festival 2024

The festival program includes over 200 workshops and performances for all the family.

Some of the recognisable names on this year’s line-up included Great British Sewing Bee’s Patrick Grant, Mr Motivator, the stars of BBC’s Gladiators and for the little ones – Supertato and Hey Duggee.

The festival is taking place on 15 and 16 June. Here are some fantastic pictures from the first day of the festival.
