It was a tough night though for popular Oldham fighter Aqib Fiaz, who came up short in his bid to win the Commonwealth super-featherweight title against Reece Bellotti.

Having won his first 12 fights to set up the title chance, Fiaz was down in the eighth with his trainer, Salford’s Jamie Moore, electing to throw in the towel to protect his man for another day.
