England's Bevan Rodd commits long-term future to Sale by signing new three-year contract
Bevan Rodd has committed his long-term future to Sale Sharks by signing a new three-year deal.
The England international joined the club’s academy in 2018 before making his first senior appearance a year later. The 23-year-old loosehead prop has since gone on to play almost 80 games for Sale and is looking forward to continuing to represent the club.

We’ve shown we can compete for the big trophies, and I’m really excited to see what this group can achieve together in the years to come. I know it’s the best place for me to develop my game and grow on and off the field.”
Key to this development will be the club’s director of rugby, Alex Sanderson and the 44-year-old cannot wait to continue his working relationship with Rodd at Sale.
He said: “He’s really exciting, and I’m buzzing that he wants to stay here. He’s one of the most talented looseheads I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and I’ve been lucky to work with a few.”
Rodd has improved astronomically during his time at Sharks, according to Sanderson, on and off the field. And the former Saracens coach believes that the future is incredibly bright for the Scottish-born prop and for the club after the completion of this contract.

It’s characters that win you trophies, and you can see how much fight and desire Bevan has to win with this club.”
