Zlatan Ibrahimovic on ‘great talent’ Anthony Elanga after Man Utd star receives Sweden call up

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has praised Anthony Elanga after the Manchester United forward received his first call up to the Sweden’s senior national team.
The former, who played for the Red Devils between 2016 and 2018, has expressed his delight that the latter is in the Sweden set up.

Hide AdSpeaking to SVT Nyheter, Ibrahimvoic dubbed Elanga a ‘great talent’ and the future of their national team.
"A great talent, we are proud and happy that he comes from Sweden. That he can represent Sweden now makes it even bigger,” Ibrahimovic said.
"He [Elanga] has all the future ahead of him, and if he continues just as he has done, it looks positive. It’s just fighting, never being content, striving for more. How much he can develop depends on him."
Elanaga has established himself in the club’s first team this season, especially since the arrival of interim manager Ralf Rangnick in December.

Hide AdThe forward has netted three goals in 18 appearances this campaign, leading to his call up to the Sweden squad.
Sweden face Czech Republic on 24 March in a World Cup play-off game, with the winner then facing Poland five days after to see who will earn their place at the competition in Qatar later this year.
Elanga has represented his country at multiple youth levels and has scored seven goals in eight appearances for their Under-21 side.
The 19-year-old can represent three countries at international level with Sweden being the country of his birth, while also able to feature for Cameroon or England.
