Manchester United could change tactics when they host Liverpool in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Erik ten Hag's side will be without the injured Mason Mount for the match and might need to ditch the 4-2-2-2 approach we have seen in the opening two matches of the campaign as a result of it.
It means United could revert to a more familiar 4-3-3 formation with Joshua Zirkzee in line to make his first start for the club as a central striker amid Rasmus Hojlund's injury lay-off. Matthijs de Ligt could start ahead of Harry Maguire in central defence, while fellow summer signing Noussair Mazraoui should keep his starting role at right-back.
Here is how we think United should line up against Liverpool:

2. CB - Matthijs de Ligt

3. CB - Lisandro Martinez

4. RB - Noussair Mazraoui
After a bright start to life at United, this will be Mazraoui's toughest challenge yet. | Manchester United via Getty Images Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images
