Manchester United are looking to overhaul their defensive options in the summer transfer window.
Erik ten Hag's side are open to adding as many as three new centre-backs to their squad in the coming weeks, while they want a minimum of two to replace Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof.
Talks are ongoing with Jonny Evans about a possible one-year extension, with a decision likely to depend on whether or not United manage to add as many players as they want this summer. United are still in talks with Willy Kambwala over a new contract as well, but he is understood to be exploring his options after entering the final year of his current deal.
In an ideal world, United will also look to add suitable left-back cover for Luke Shaw, though any addition will likely depend on raising funds through player sales first.
With that in mind, here is how their defensive options could look next season.
