The Red Devils won the second-tier of women’s football on April 20,2019 - we take a look at where their starting 11 are now.

Manchester United captured the Women’s Championship title on this day three year ago in their first season as a professional club.

The Red Devils, who were managed by former England captain Casey Stoney, dominated the competition, winning 18 of their 20 league games, only losing once and drawing once as well.

United’s squad boasted a mix of youth and experience and on April 20, 2019 came up against a Crystal Palace side sat 10th in the table.

Stoney’s team dominated their opposition, beating the Eagles 7-0 at Leigh Sports Village and claimed the second-tier title in the process thanks to goals from Jess Sigsworth, Leah Galton, Lizzie Arnot and a quartet from Lauren James.
