It was a hectic first summer at Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag immiedately put his stamp on the Manchester United squad.

The new Red Devils manager has spent over £200million to persuade the likes of Ajax duo Lisandro Martinez and Antony, Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro and Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia to join his new look squad.

The summer was bookended with two prudent additions as Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen joined on a free transfer and Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka agreed to a season-long loan deal that could become a permanent switch at the end of the season.

There have been a whole host of departures with some long-serving stars heading to pastures new.

Paul Pogba’s underwhelming second spell at Old Trafford ended with a free transfer move to former club Juventus and Jesse Lingard’s time with his boyhood club closed when he joined Premier League newcomers Nottingham Forest.
