Hannibal Mejbri has completed his loan move away from Manchester United.

The 20-year-old's move to Spanish side Sevilla includes a £17m option to buy in the summer, Sevilla's option to buy is for £14m + £3m add-ons it has been revealed. He had made 10 appearances this campaign but remained behind the likes of Scott McTominay, Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes in the midfield pecking order.

Meanwhile, his next move could prove to be a return to Old Trafford as it has been revealed that Manchester United do have a buy-back option until June 2026. Sources have also confirmed there is a 'sizeable sell-on fee' if he is sold elsewhere.

Alvaro Fernandez and Mateo Mejia will also depart this window with the trio of youngsters not deemed to be in manager Erik ten Hag’s immediate plans, and continues the club’s recent policy shift in regards to selling youth-team players.

Fernandez’s loan was cut short at Granada on Sunday, with United opting to recall the player ahead of a switch to Benfica. The left-back, who is highly rated at Old Trafford and was monitored closely by Ten Hag in pre-season, played 13 times for the Spanish side in the first half of the campaign.
