“We’re all here for you”: fans, players & clubs rally round Denis Law - here’s what they had to say

The football community has come out in force to support Denis Law after the former Manchester United and Manchester City striker announced on Thursday he has been diagnosed with “mixed dementia.”

Scotland’s all-time joint record goalscorer released a statement explaining he recognises that his “brain is deteriorating” and stated he wanted to address the situation while still able to.

In response, the world of football has shown an overwhelming and heartwarming response to the 81-year-old’s update.
