Man United transfer round-up: Premier League midfielder Rice is high on the club’s radar

It’s just a week until the transfer window shuts, and it very much seems like there will be more business concluded at Manchester United.

The Red Devils are being heavily linked with another option in midfield, while speculation continues that several players could leave the club before the deadline next Tuesday.

Eduardo Camavinga

Journalist Andy Mitten revealed United are keen on signing West Ham United’s Declan Rice.

"I know that Manchester United like Declan Rice," Mitten told the Talk of the Red Devils Podcast. “West Ham want Jesse Lingard. Manchester United want money and Declan Rice. The Sullivans [West Ham’s owners] are not adverse to doing a bit of wheeling and dealing.

“A week ago, I was told don’t bet against someone else coming in at the club. They clearly want someone else to come in but the finances might restrict that."
