Manchester United made it four wins in their last four matches with a 3-1 victory over league leaders Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

A debut goal from new signing Antony and a brace from Marcus Rashford were enough to secure all three points at Old Trafford, and move the Red Devils up to fifth in the table.

Next up for Erik ten Hag’s side is a Europa League group stage clash against Real Sociedad, but before then, there is plenty of gossip to get through.

Check out Monday lunchtime’s United-related transfer speculation below...

Osimhen unlikely in January

United are unlikely to seal a deal for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen until next summer at the earliest, with the Serie A outfit likely to demand close to £100 million, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Nigeria international has been touted as a potential target for the Red Devils in recent weeks, with Erik ten Hag making drastic changes to his starting XI at Old Trafford.

But after a summer of heavy spending, Jones is of the opinion that United will wait until the end of the season to rekindle their interest in the forward.

The transfer guru told GIVEMESPORT: You’re talking close to £100 million again.

“United have already spent a quarter of a billion pounds, pretty much, in this transfer window. So that’d be an absolutely insane level of spending if they were to also do that in the same season.

“I find it hard to believe they would do that halfway through a season, so maybe we will have to wait until the summer.”

PSG held Rashford interest

French champions Paris-Saint Germain held an interest in United forward over the summer, but never made an official bid to lure him away from Old Trafford, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The England international has started the new campaign at a promising pace, with three goals and two assists in his first six matches.

But prior to his return to form, there had been speculation linking him with a potential move away from his boyhood club.

Romano has sought to clarify the situation, however.

Speaking to Caught Offside, the Italian transfer journalist said: “Despite some claims to the contrary, Tottenham have never approached Rashford this summer. PSG have always had an interest in the player, but there has never been an official offer.

“Rashford’s current contract expires in 2023, but Man United are relaxed because they have an option to extend the contract for another year until 2024, so more on that later.”

Glazers name their price

The Glazer Family would be willing to sell United for around £3.75billion, according to the Daily Mail.

It has been suggested in recent weeks that the Red Devils’ American owners may consider selling a minority stake in the club, but this latest update has named a price that could “prise” it away from their control entirely.

It is also claimed that the sovereign wealth fund of Dubai could be a “contender” to buy United for that price, following in the Premier League footsteps of Abu Dhabi (Manchester City) and Saudi Arabia (Newcastle United).
