Tottenham suffer Heung-min Son injury scare ahead of Manchester United clash
Spurs could be without their skipper for Sunday’s trip to Old Trafford.
Heung-min Son is an injury doubt for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of Sunday’s Premier League trip to Manchester United.

Both sides meet at Old Trafford in what feels like a match of early significant given the mediocre starts both clubs have made to the new campaign. United have won just three of their eight games this season and have picked up seven points in the league after five matches, the same number as Spurs.
Unlike Erik ten Hag’s side, Tottenham started their Europa League campaign with a win in midweek as they beat Qarabag 3-0 at home. But it might have come at a significant cost as Son was replaced with a knock during the Thursday’s match.
The winger received treatment on the field following Tottenham’s third goal and was then replaced by Timo Werner.
Asked for an update after the game, manager Ange Postecoglou said: “I haven't spoken to him. He said he felt a bit tired but I haven't spoken to him or medicals yet.”
Should the injury prevent the South Korean playing this weekend it would be a huge blow for Spurs, with Son playing every single minute of Tottenham’s league campaign to date, scoring two goals so far. Any absence for the clubs’ skipper would also be significant given fellow attacker Richarlison has been ruled out.
Son has played 18 times against United during his Spurs career and, despite facing four teams on more occasions, has lost more games (11) against the Red Devils than any other side in his career. The 32-year-old has also only scored four times across those 18 matches.
