Manchester United will continue to work on new signings as they begin their pre-season training over the coming week. The first group of players are due back at Carrington from Monday 7 July, where they will undergo an initial fitness test and take part in light training sessions.
Ruben Amorim will turn up the intensity ahead of the first summer friendly match against Leeds in a fortnight, before United fly to the United States to face West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton in the Premier League Summer Series. United will also face Fiorentina in a final Old Trafford friendly ahead of the new league season.
Amorim wanted to have as many new signings in place as possible for their return to Carrington tomorrow, but Matheus Cunha will be the only new senior addition to his first-team squad. The lack of new signings will serve as a reminder of the work that still needs to be done, and here are the transfers that could be completed next week.
