Manchester United can continue their late push for a Champions League place when they host Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday. Erik ten Hag's side have won their last four Premier League games in what has been their best run of form all season.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's arrival as a minority shareholder at United became official earlier this week and the INEOS chief is already working behind the scenes to prepare for a summer of major change. In the meantime, ManchesterWorld has rounded up some of the latest headlines to come out of Old Trafford.

Tuchel eyeing United job

Thomas Tuchel will be searching for a new job this summer and reports in Germany suggest he is 'taking a look' at the prospect of succeeding Ten Hag at United. Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg reports that the 50-year-old is keen on a return to the Premier League and 'can imagine' being in the home dugout at Old Trafford.

Tuchel is currently manager of Bayern Munich but the Bundesliga club announced on Wednesday that he will leave his post at the end of what has been a disappointing season. Bayern are eight points off league leaders Bayer Leverkusen and were knocked out of their domestic cup by third-tier FC Saarbrucken.

From United's side, there has been no inclination that Ten Hag could leave any time soon with the Dutchman enjoying a decent period of form. Ratcliffe is expected to back the manager financially this summer and will give him a shot at improving next season.

£80m Wolves swoop

United have been tipped as a potential suitor for Wolves winger Pedro Neto but will reportedly have to pay £80m for his signature. The Athletic's David Ornstein has suggested a move to Old Trafford could be on the cards, especially if Dan Ashworth is appointed as the club's sporting director.

Newcastle United are known to hold a long-standing interest in Neto but much of their transfer business in recent windows has been done under Ashworth. And so the recruitment chief could bring his own targets to United, who look set to need a right-winger with Jadon Sancho unlikely to play for the club again and Antony continuing to underwhelm.

Neto is under contract at Wolves until 2027 and Ornstein adds that any suitor would need to pay around £80m for the Portuguese international. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are also named in the report.
