Manchester United and Manchester City’s England players will learn whether they will be competing at the Women’s Euros this summer when Sarina Wiegman names her Lionesses squad at 5pm on Wednesday.

The competition will be held in England between 6-31 July, with the Lionesses hosting Austria in the opening game at Old Trafford on the former mentioned date.

Wiegman has a tough task on her hands with the 52-year-old having to cut her current 28-player provisional squad by five in preparation for the announcement.

Among those missing out could currently be plying their trade for the Red Devils or Sky Blues with the provisional squad already boasting five United stars, while City have 11 names on the list.

With that being said, let’s take a look at which Red Devils and Sky Blues players are expected to be named in the squad this summer - unfortunately there’s no room for these two United stars.
