Erik ten Hag took further steps to put his own stamp on the Manchester United squad during a hectic summer transfer window.
After a largely successful first season in charge where the former Ajax manager helped the Red Devils lift the Carabao Cup and return to the Champions League, there were several new arrivals at Old Trafford as Ten Hag looked to build on the momentum he had gained.
The likes of Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana all joined the club as the Dutch boss spent over £170m to further boost his squad. There were departures with Dean Henderson, Anthony Elanga, Fred and Alex Telles all heading for pastures new.
