A number of players released by Premier League teams remain without a club with the season underway

Manchester City got the defence of their Premier League title off to the perfect start with a 3-0 victory at newly-promoted Burnley on Friday night.

Erling Haaland netted twice in the first half at Turf Moor with Rodri adding a third 15 minutes from the end. With the season underway, a number of players released at the end of last campaign remain on the free agent market.

Manchester United kick off their season at home to Wolves on Monday night, as they begin their second campaign under Erik ten Hag.

It is unlikely that City or United will be turning to the free agent market during the transfer window but there are a handful of players let go by the Red Devils who are yet to find a club - and Manchester World has looked at who the 24 free agents from Premier League teams are below...
