Their performances this campaign, including a 6-3 win over Leicester City, a 4-0 victory over Newcastle United and a 7-0 drubbing of Leeds United.

Ralf Rangnick was appointed as interim manager until the end of the campaign, with a permanent boss due to be appointed in the summer. The German has altered how the club plays, but will it be enough to secure a top four finish?

It’s no surprise that City are predicted to regain their Premier League title this season, with the site predicting the Sky Blues to finish top of the table with 92 points.

2. Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s men will be City’s closest challengers according to the supercomputer, finishing on 84 points.

The Reds have the same amount of defeats as the league leaders (2), but four more draws (6) than the Manchester club.

3. Chelsea

Last season’s Champions League winners have struggled recently in the league, winning only one of their last five. Despite this, experts predict they’ll come third in the table with 76 points.

Taking the last top four spot will be Tottenham Hotspur according to the supercomputer with 65 points. Antonio Conte’s side currently sit seventh in the table, but have a few games in hand on teams around and above them.

5. Arsenal

Mikel Arteta’s men are set to scoop a Europa League group stage place, finishing one point below their north London rivals Tottenham with 64 points. Arsenal fans will want their club to do anything to finish above Spurs come May.

6. Manchester United

Look away now United fans. The experts don’t think Rangnick can guide the club to a top four finish this season, instead coming sixth and qualify for the Europa Conference League play-off round with 61 points.

It’s technically a place in Europe, but the Red Devils are expected to finish in a Champions League spot. Without a top four finish, it could lead to any potential manager linked to the permanent job hesitating to take it.
