The Red Devils were the final side in action during the last round of fixtures, when they beat Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford, giving Southampton an extra two days to prepare for the game.

It’s something United will need to continue against the Saints, who themselves grabbed a first win of the season last time out.
Southampton came from a goal down on Saturday to beat Leicester City 2-1, with Che Adams netting a brace for the south-coast club.
