Manchester United are close to agreeing a fee with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat, according to reports in Italy.
The midfielder, who is a target for the Red Devils this summer, is widely expected to leave the Florence club. Amrabat has less than 12 months remaining on his contract and could be available at a relatively cheap price.

Meanwhile, Corriere Fiorentino report the Morocco international is training by himself, with a deal set to be agreed soon.
Amrabat’s agent has confirmed publicly that the player would be interested in a move this summer, and added that Saudi Arabian clubs are also monitoring the situation. “Quite a few clubs are interested in Sofyan,” Mahmoud El Boustati told Dutch outlet VoetbalPrimeur.
“It is now a matter of making the right choice. He is still just a Fiorentina player and he reported to Fiorentina on Monday. If something interesting comes up, Sofyan is open to the step, Fiorentina too. There are two, three clubs that he is open to.

Amrabat, who played a starring role in Morocco’s run to the World Cup semi-final last season, began his career at Utrecht, where he played under Erik ten Hag. The 26-year-old has since played for Feyenoord, Club Brugge and Fiorentina.
The United manager wants to bring in another midfielder in addition to the signing of Mason Mount this summer, while Kobbie Mainoo is expected to play a role with the senior team in 2023/24. Scott McTominay, Fred and Donny van de Beek could still depart the club this window.
