Unbeaten in their first seven games and top of the Moldovan National Division by a six-point margin, the Yellow-Blacks have been in fine form.
They also famously beat Real Madrid 2-1 away at the Bernabeu in 2021; a 90th-minute winner from Sebastian Thill handed Sheriff a historic victory.
United have never faced a Moldovan outfit in European competition, and so this clash is a first for the Red Devils.
