Ruud van Nistelrooy makes Amad Diallo decision as star Manchester United player dropped

Amad Diallo starts for Manchester United in their Europa League tie against PAOK, with Marcus Rashford dropped to the bench by Ruud van Nistelrooy.

United are going in search of their first European win of the season when they host the Greek side at Old Trafford on Thursday night and interim head coach Van Nistelrooy has made three changes for the match from the team that drew with Chelsea at the weekend.

Amad replaces Rashford in the forward line, while Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans start at centre-back in place of Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez.

It means Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui remain at full-back, with Manuel Ugarte, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes in midfield. Rasmus Hojlund leads the line in attack.

Van Nistelrooy has named academy trio Harry Amass, Jayce Fitzgerald and Ethan Wheatley on the bench, while Mason Mount, Christian Eriksen and Antony are also among the substitutes after the recent return from injury.
