Ruben Amorim will have learned a lot about his Manchester United squad during his first three weeks in charge of the club.
The Portuguese head coach began work during the November international break and is unbeaten across his first two matches in all competitions after a draw with Ipswich Town and victory over Bodo/Glimt.
Amorim will be looking to record his first Premier League win when they host Everton this weekend, though it is easier said than done at a time when he is trying to implement a new style of play and also carefully manage the fitness of his first-team squad.
Based on performances in his first two matches in charge, there are already a host of players who look like they could flourish under the new head coach, though there have also been a number of problem positions.
Here is a look at Amorim's best line up right now and the five positions that are still very much up for grabs:

5. CB - Martinez/Shaw
Lisandro Martinez would ordinarily be the automatic choice here, but he now faces genuine competition from Luke Shaw for a starting role. Again, one of these could start in the central role, but on the left-side of defence there is fierce competition to start. | Manchester United via Getty Images

6. RWB - Amad Diallo
Amad has really made the right wing-back his own so far and deserves an extended run in the role to see just how good he can get. | Manchester United via Getty Images

7. LWB - Dalot/Shaw/Garnacho
United are already looking to sign a left wing-back next year, which pretty much says it all. Amorim acknowledges Diogo Dalot is better on the right, while Shaw might be better suited to a centre-back role in this formation. Alejandro Garnacho is an option, though he has work to do defensively. | Manchester United via Getty Images

8. CM - Bruno Fernandes
Fernandes is the United captain and has to start every match when fit. Amorim has suggested he is better in one of the two central midfield roles, rather than in attacking midfield. | AFP via Getty Images
