Manchester United return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host Leicester City, and know they’ll need to take close to maximum points from their remaining nine matches if the team are to finish in the Champions League spots.
The Red Devils currently trail fourth-place Arsenal by four points, but crucially the Gunners have a game in hand and could stretch that advantage to seven points.
Ralf Rangnick’s men are also lagging behind Tottenham Hotspur in the table, which is why the German will be so keen to return with a win at Old Trafford on Saturday.
There’s plenty for Rangnick to contend with when making his team selection for the visit of Brendan Rodgers’s men, including those who were away with their various countries during the recent international break.
Eighteen Red Devils met up with their senior national squads over the last two weeks, with games involving United players taking place across four continents.
Therefore, it could be on Rangnick’s radar to potentially select first-teamers who remained at Carrington over the break, which includes key men such as David De Gea, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
Ahead of Saturday’s match, we’ve rounded up all those who approach the game with any question marks surrounding their fitness.

1. Edinson Cavani
The attacker is the biggest doubt after he picked up a calf problem while representing Uruguay. He looks likely to miss the clash with the Foxes.

2. Diogo Dalot
After not playing in Portugal’s win over North Macedonia on Tuesday, Dalot was spotted at Carrington the very next day, showing how keen he is to be involved on Saturday.

3. Fred
The midfielder was away with Brazil and will not have returned to England until Wednesday. There have been issues with players travelling to South America this season, and Rangnick may decide to start with the fresher option of Nemanja Matic.

4. Paul Pogba
Pulled out of France’s training session last week with a foot problem, but was fit enough to play in the world champions’ 5-0 victory over South Africa on Tuesday.
