Robbie Savage issues verdict on Marcus Rashford red card decision during Copenhagen v Man Utd

Robbie Savage has issued his verdict on the red card shown to Marcus Rashford during Manchester United's Champions League clash with Copenhagen. Erik ten Hag's men raced into a two-goal lead in Denmar, with Rasmus Hojlund netting twice, but a red card decision turned the game on its head.

When you see it from that other angle - he has gone to protect the ball, and by doing that he has stamped on his shin and that is 100% a red card." A win could be crucial for United's hopes of progressing, given they had only won one of their three games heading into this fixture, while they still have Galatasaray and Bayern Munich to play.
