The Premier League season is approaching its final stages with plenty of twists and turns expected at both ends of the table over the next five weeks.
There was a fascinating insight into the title race on Sunday afternoon when leaders Manchester City and Liverpool battled their way to a 2-2 draw in an intriguing contest at the Etihad.
Spurs took a big leap towards securing the fourth and final Champions League place as they romped to a 4-0 win at Aston Villa and saw top four rivals Arsenal, West Ham United, Manchester United and Wolves all beaten in their weekend fixtures.
The battle to avoid relegation also took a twist at the weekend with Norwich City keeping alive their brief hopes of preserving their Premier League status with a win against fellow strugglers Burnley.
But with Everton, Leeds United and Newcastle United all claiming wins in their own weekend games, it seems the Canaries, Burnley and Watford are facing a real uphill battle to escape the bottom three.
