Permanent fee revealed should European club sign Man Utd loanee

Further details of Donny van de Beek's loan exit have been revealed.

On Monday, Manchester United confirmed the exit of Van de Beek with the midfielder signing for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for the rest of the season. The 26-year-old has made 62 appearances and scored two goals for United since joining from Ajax in 2020.

And now further details have emerged of how much Van de Beek will cost should they want to make the deal permanent. BBC Sport report the fee is set at £9.5m.

BBC Sport report: "It is understood Eintracht will pay United a loan fee and are covering the majority of his wages. Should they want to make the deal permanent, the fee is set at 11m euros (£9.5m), with an additional 3m euros (£2.6m) in add-ons."

On Monday, a Manchester United club statement read: "Donny van de Beek has signed for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Manchester United.The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder will join the Bundesliga side for the remainder of the 2023/24 season. The deal comes on the first day of the 2024 winter transfer window, which remains open until February 1."

Eintracht Frankfurt are currently sixth in the Bundesliga. They face a UEFA Europa Conference League play-off with Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium in February.
