Paul Scholes sends Man United blunt three-word transfer order as £68m gem pinpointed for signing

Man United are looking to add more talent to their squad as they try to rebuild by selling several names such as Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho.
However, if they do sell those players, Ruben Amorim will need to find replacements, and they are already looking to bring one in. Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, but United are set to be rivalled by Newcastle and Tottenham for his signature.

Paul Scholes urges Man United to sign Eberechi Eze
Thomas Tuchel suffered his first defeat as England manager on Tuesday after he saw his side suffer a 3-1 defeat in an international friendly to a lively Senegal side. It was the first time that an England team has lost to an African side. Many have been critical of how the England players performed during the game, but former Man United midfielder Paul Scholes was quick to praise one of Tuchel’s players, urging the Red Devils to sign him.
Eberechi Eze was a bright spark against Senegal, picking up the ball, and helping to create the majority of England’s chances. He has been linked with a move to Manchester United from Crystal Palace after a superb season in the Premier League. Scholes posted on his Instagram story with a picture of Eze. He simply captioned it “just buy him”. The midfielder had an excellent season for Crystal Palace this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.
He also netted the goal that handed Palace their FA Cup triumph over Manchester City at Wembley, which should land them a place in the Europa League next season. Eze has a £68m release clause in his contract at Palace, so if United were prepared to pay that fee, they could swoop in without opposition.

Seeing as Eze can play on the wing or in midfield, he would be the ideal player to feature alongside Matheus Cunha in one of the number 10 roles that Amorim likes to play behind a number nine.
United are getting more and more competition for Mbeumo this summer, none more so than from Tottenham, who are expected to announce Brentford boss Thomas Frank as their new manager, with many suggesting that Mbeumo could move with Frank to North London.
If the Danish manager does manage to convince Mbeumo to move to Spurs, United could then turn their attention to Eze, who would be able to come in and play in one of the number 10 roles, much like Mbeumo would have done.
