Paul Merson and Chris Sutton have issued their predictions for Manchester United's clash with Fulham this weekend. Erik ten Hag's men have improved significantly over recent weeks, reigniting their top four hopes with a sizzling run of form.
United have seemingly forgotten their disastrous start to the season, but they need to remain consistent if they want to compete for Champions League football next season. Fulham await at Old Trafford this weekend, and the Cottagers have blown hot and cold this season, currently hanging around mid-table.

He said in his weekly predictions: "Manchester United keep on winning - Sunday's success at Luton was their fifth in a row in all competitions - and I'm pleased to see Rasmus Hojlund has carried on scoring too. Fulham were very unlucky to lose to United at Craven Cottage in November, but their away form is not the best. They have only won once away in the league all season, against Everton on the opening weekend.
"I don't think this will be easy for United, because Fulham are a dangerous counter-attacking team, but Erik ten Hag's time are playing with more freedom at the moment, which is why I think they will win."
Sutton predicted a 2-1 win for United, but former Arsenal forward Merson is much more confident, tipping a 3-0 win in his SportsKeeda predictions column. "Manchester United seem to keep winning all the time now," he reasoned. "They weren't the better team against Aston Villa, but they pulled it off. Luton were dominating them at one point, but I can't remember Onana making a single save.
"Manchester United are going to score goals in this game, and Fulham will need to score as well if they want to get a result. Man United have a set front three now, and they're performing consistently for Ten Hag."

He's only 21 years old, and he's been brilliant for United. Fulham have picked up only seven points from their travels so far, and have been poor away from home. I can only see a Man United win in this fixture, and that would put them right into the top-four race."
