Manchester United have dismissed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following a dire run of recent results that culminated in a 4-1 defeat against Watford on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds have lost four of their last five matches in the Premier League, and currently lie seventh in the table, 12 points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
The club released an official statement on Sunday morning confirming the Norwegian’s departure from Old Trafford after it was widely reported yesterday evening that an emergency top-level board meeting was held to discuss his future following the game at Vicarage Road.
But who is in the running to succeed Solskjaer now that his exit has been sealed?
