New Man Utd owners’ net worth against Newcastle, Liverpool and more as takeover saga continues - gallery

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is once again the leading candidate to complete a Manchester United takeover with officials meeting the business tycoon last week.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe remains the frontrunner in the ongoing takeover saga surrounding Manchester United Football Club and The Glazer family.

It’s been months since news of the Ineos billionaire’s interest first emerged and it is reported that members of the club met once again with Sir Jim last week to discuss the £5 billion purchase.

The only real competition the businessman faces is that of Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, who has also been touted as the most likely buyer in recent weeks.

Sir Jim is proposing to buy a majority stake in United and leaving two of the Glazers involved but Sheikh Jassim desires to buy the club outright.

ManchesterWorld takes a look at how much each bidder is reported to be worth compared with the Premier League owners from the 2022/23 season.
