Jenas' Ten Hag claim

Match of the Day pundit Jermaine Jenas has questioned whether Ten Hag is 'good enough' to lead United to a brighter future. "I don't see players who have chucked the towel in, I just see players who don't know what to do," Jenas told TalkSport. "There's no cohesion.

"I don't think he's good enough. I've not seen anything in his style of management that makes me think he's the right man to take them in the right direction. I can't see what his plan is based on the players he is buying – that's a big one for me. All he's buying is what he knows rather than what is good for Manchester United."

Mancini interest

United are said to be eyeing a new centre-back ahead of the January transfer window. The Red Devils have been left short at the back this season amid Lisandro Martinez's injury issues, although he should return early in the new year.

To avoid a repeat of the situation, Il Romanista are claiming that United will go after AS Roma star Gianluca Mancini this winter. Though, the report adds that Roma will not be willing to part ways with the defender until the summer at the earliest. That could make Mancini a longer term option for United, who may need to replace Raphael Varane in the medium term.
