Mary Earps Shirt: England confirm Lionesses goalkeeper kit to go on sale in time for Christmas

England Women have announced that they Mary Earps' replica Lionesses goalkeeper shirt will be available to buy in time for Christmas.

One of the most popular women's footballers on the planet, Earps recently won the BBC's Women's Footballer of the Year award although, aside from a small release after the World Cup in the summer, her international jersey has not been available to buy after a dispute with kit manufacturer Nike.

Earps and Nike had been in debate over the sale of the shirt earlier in the year when the Manchester United goalkeeper revealed Nike had refused to issue replica Lionesses goalkeeper jerseys during the World Cup year. The United stopper cited the decision as "hugely disappointing and very hurtful".

Following the 30-year-old's social media post, Nike responded by saying: "We hear and understand the desire for a retail version of a goalkeeper jersey and we are working towards solutions for future tournaments" although no kit was released.

However, following backlash from fans over Nike's decision to not stock the goalkeeper's jersey and an online petition that received over 15,000 followers, the kit manufacturer released a limited amount, though they sold out in just one hour.

The charismatic goalkeeper has risen to fame after her match winning performances in both the European Championship and World Cup of 2023, with chants of "Mary, Mary" heard frequently during Lionesses matches over the past 18 months.

There's now exciting news for Lionesses fans looking to secure a limited Earps England jersey this Christmas after it was confirmed they would go back in stock ahead of the festive season.

How much is the England Women's goalkeeper kit

As of yet, we don't have any pricing for the kit though we can anticipate it will be similar in cost to the official home and away kits.

On release, prices started at £79.95 for adult/women's sizing and £59.95 for kids. We expect the prices for Earps' England Women kit to be similar.

When are England Women's goalkeeper kits on sale

The Lionesses official Twitter/X page and website have announced that England Women’s goalkeeper shirts in women’s and junior sizes will be available for fans to buy at the official England store at 8am on Monday 11 December.

However, if you're looking to get Mary Earps' name and number printed on the shirt, they have advised "For pre-Christmas personalised orders (name/number) via standard delivery please order by (midnight GMT) on Saturday 16 December, with the deadline for personalised express delivery on pre-Christmas orders by (midnight GMT) on Sunday 17 December."
