Marcus Rashford's Man Utd transfer 'stance' as Paris Saint-Germain eye Kylian Mbappe replacement
Marcus Rashford looks set to show his commitment to Manchester United with reports suggesting he will snub transfer interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The French giants are long-time admirers of Rashford and met with his brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, in the summer of 2022 to discuss the possibility of a move. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi admitted interest in the forward that same year and suggested his side could return in the future.

PSG will be in the market for a marquee signing this summer as they replace Kylian Mbappe, who looks set to leave as a free agent once his contract expires. The Ligue 1 club will save around £200m in getting the Frenchman's wages off the books and so any offer for Rashford would likely include a massive pay-rise.
Nevertheless, Rashford is expected to remain at United after being identified as a 'key part' of what is hoped to be a period of significant improvement. New co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is planning to overhaul the squad in order make Erik ten Hag's side competitive in the Premier League and Europe again, but there are no plans to cash in on Rashford.
The forward has come in for regular criticism regarding disciplinary issues this season, particularly after calling in sick for training one Friday in January after an unauthorised night out in Belfast. Ten Hag dropped Rashford for the following game - an FA Cup fourth-round win over Newport County - and fined two week's wages.

The United academy graduate was named in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the March international break and is expected to feature against Brazil and Belgium.
