Marcus Rashford confronts Manchester United fan after incident during warm-up

Marcus Rashford was involved in a confrontation with a Manchester United supporter ahead of their Premier League clash with Newcastle on Wednesday night.
A clip shared to social media showed the 26-year-old walk over to the Stretford End after he appeared to have verbal abuse directed towards him by a fan during the warm-up to their match.

The England international is back in the United squad for the first time since he limped off during their FA Cup semi-final clash with Coventry City. He had missed subsequent matches against Sheffield United, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
Speaking ahead of the game, Erik ten Hag said he was delighted to have Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Lisandro Martinez back available for the clash with the Magpies.

“It is very good because you have seen the last games we had only academy players on the bench,” he told Sky Sports. “Now we have some senior players, who can make a difference, to come on.”
