Manchester United updated fixture list after five matches changed

Manchester United have been handed five changes to their Premier League schedule for the new season after the TV fixtures were confirmed.

Erik ten Hag's side already knew they were going to kickstart the new season against Fulham on Friday August 16, and they now know that their first away game against Brighton has been moved forward to the lunchtime slot.

United's home match against Liverpool has been selected for a Sunday slot on September 1, although the kick-off time of the fixture is still yet to be confirmed.

The away match against Southampton after the first international break of the new campaign has also been moved to the Saturday lunchtime slot, while the away trip to Crystal Palace the following weekend will be in the Saturday evening slot.

The final change sees United's home match against Tottenham moved to a Sunday, with kick-off at 4:30pm.
