The confirmed team news as Man Utd travel to face Man City in the first Manchester derby of the Premier League season.

Manchester United are set to be without just one senior player when they face Man City in the first Manchester derby of the season later today. United take on City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon with kick-off at 4:30pm GMT.

Victor Lindelof and Toby Collyer both returned from injury to be named on the bench as United came from behind to defeat Viktoria Plzen in midweek, while Jonny Evans did not make the trip as a precaution as he recovers from a recent knock.

It means United are set to be without just one senior star for the trip to the Etihad Stadium, with Luke Shaw still sidelined until later this month after he suffered a recent hamstring issue.

Amorim is expected to rotate his starting line up once again when United face City this afternoon and here is the latest injury news for the match:

Jonny Evans - 15 December vs Man City (A)

Evans returned to United training earlier in the week but was not named in the travelling squad for the Europa League clash against Plzen. He should be available for selection this weekend if he is required.

Shaw is United’s only long-term injury concern at the moment after he suffered a hamstring injury. He is expected to be out for a few weeks and could return when United face Wolves on Boxing Day.
