Antony not present at Ajax training as he makes transfer stance clear
As reported by The Mirror, Ajax resumed pre-season training on Friday under new manager Alfred Schreuder.
However, Antony did not join up with his teammates and is “seeminglytaking the next step in pushing through his move” to Old Trafford.
The 22-year old first moved to The Netherlands in 2020 and spent the past two seasons working under Erik ten Hag at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
The Brazil international is said to be very keen on the move to Manchester and “wants his club to cooperate” with Ajax having placed a £69m price-tag on his services.
United had reportedly thought they could secure a move for around £40m but have been dealt a blow with the latest valuation.
