Manchester United‘s top-four hopes are diminishing by the day, and the pressure is on the Red Devils to turn around their form and secure Champions League qualification.

Ralf Rangnick’s men put on a dismal display against city rivals Manchester City over the weekend, looking bereft of confidence as they slumped to a 4-1 defeat.

As things stand, United are one point behind Arsenal but have played three games more, and it’s looking increasingly likely that Europa League football is the most that can be secured for next season.

A new manager and a number of fresh signings are required, though, the latest rumours seem to suggest there could yet be significant departures first.

Here are the latest reports:

Rashford issue

Marcus Rashford is dominating the transfer talk today, with the Daily Mail reporting he is considering his future at Old Trafford amid struggles under Ralph Rangnick.

Rashford is under contract until 2023, although that could be extended by a further year.

Ronaldo future

There are also question marks over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, who missed the clash with City.

The Athletic have claimed that the United players were caught off-guard by his absence.

Meanwhile, footballtransfers.com suggest Ronaldo is using his trip to Portugal to plan a move away from Old Trafford.
