Manchester United are moving fast to add to their squad in the summer transfer window. Ruben Amorim wants to add attacking flair to his first-team squad, with a preference to sign players who have already proven they can cope with the physical demands of the Premier League.
United are close to completion on a deal for Wolves talisman Matheus Cunha, while they also hold an interest in Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo and Crystal Palace hero Eberechi Eze. Amorim wants to add two attacking midfielders to his squad this summer as well as add a striker to his side.
The stage is already set for Cunha at Old Trafford, where he could inherit his dream squad number, while they could also welcome Mbeumo with the number he has worn the most. United might also make a move to reunite Amorim with Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres after they missed out on a move for Liam Delap.
Here is a look at the shirt numbers most likely to be available to new signings this summer.
