Erik ten Hag might need to get creative with his line up when Manchester United face Man City in the Community Shield later today.
United are set to face their noisy neighbours in a repeat of the FA Cup final as they look for the perfect start to the new season ahead of their Premier League opener next week.
There is likely to be a makeshift look to United's backline for the Wembley showdown, with teenager Harry Amass in line to start amid an ongoing defensive injury crisis. Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof have not been included in the travelling squad for the match, but Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans will be involved.
United also head into the match without Rasmus Hojlund in attack, while summer signing Joshua Zirkzee has only just started training with his new teammates. It means Jadon Sancho could lead the line as a false nine.
Here is how we think United should line up:

10. LW - Marcus Rashford
Rashford is at his best on the left wing and should start there with Alejandro Garnacho having only just returned. | Manchester United via Getty Images Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images

11. ST - Jadon Sancho
In the absence of an obvious striker, Sancho should get the chance to prove he is worth another go at United. | Manchester United via Getty Images Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images
