Manchester United face a pivotal week as they look to salvage their season and restore a sense of pride around Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim's side are back in action when they host Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend but know they face a more important task in the second leg of their Europa League last 16 tie against Real Sociedad next week.

United are almost certain to record their lowest-ever Premier League finish this season while their only hope of qualifying for Europe again will be if they win the Europa League. They have already been knocked out of both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup in what could very well be a trophyless season.

Erik ten Hag was sacked after a poor start to the campaign, while Amorim has inherited an underperforming squad that is low on confidence and does not suit his tactical approach. Here is how we have rated the United players so far this season:
