Manchester United's youngsters stole the show as they defeated Newcastle 3-2 in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Kobbie Mainoo and Amad scored either side of Anthony Gordon and Rasmus Hojlund added a third from the bench. A late stunner from Lewis Hall added extra drama to the match, but was not enough to inspire a draw as Erik ten Hag's side ended their three-match winless run and rejuvenated their faint hopes of European qualification in their final home match of the season.
Bruno Fernandes made an enormous contribution on his return from injury and was at the heart of everything his team did well, while fan favourite Lisandro Martinez also marked his return to action from the bench after over a month on the sidelines.
The match belonged to United's youngsters though, with Mainoo and Amad the star performers in what was a compelling match. Sofyan Amrabat is also worth a special mention after arguably his best performance in a United shirt so far and would might have been his final home outing for the club.
