Ruben Amorim might need to settle upon a new strongest line up as he looks to salvage Manchester United's season and win the Europa League. United will face Lyon in the quarter-finals of the competition after they knocked Real Sociedad out in the round of 16 this week.
United will also look to climb the Premier League as much as possible, but their primary focus is on winning the Europa League and earning a return to the Champions League next season. Doing so would not only significantly boost their financial situation, it would also make them a more attractive prospect to join in the summer and give Amorim his first trophy at the club.
They will be boosted by the return of Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount in the coming weeks, while Amad Diallo is expected to be back before the end of the season. Here is what their new strongest line up could look like for the remainder of the campaign:
