Manchester United are in for a busy final week of the January transfer window as Ruben Amorim looks to make his mark on the first-team playing squad.
Amorim wants United to sign both a wing-back and a forward in the coming days, while he also wouldn't mind if they added a midfielder to their squad.
United could finance a move for Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu through loan exits, though a move for a forward will likely depend on selling a first-team star. They had hoped to sell Marcus Rashford but could reluctantly allow Alejandro Garnacho to leave in order to address their tight financial situation. Chelsea and Napoli have both been linked with moves for Garnacho and United could even use him to orchestrate a swap-deal that would see either Christopher Nkunku or Victor Osimhen join the club instead.
They have also been linked with a loan move for Juventus star Douglas Luiz, while Tyrell Malacia is expected to leave on loan if a deal for Dorgu is completed. Here is how United could line up if all the transfer gossip turns out to be true:
