Manchester United will be desperate to get back to winning ways this weekend amid a disappointing run of form.

Ralf Rangnick’s men were stunned by relegation-threatened Everton last time out to lose even more ground on fourth spot.

Following a draw before that, United are now on course for Europa League football, but they have a good opportunity to get back on track this weekend, when they face Norwich City at home.

As the wait goes on for that clash, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news.

United lead Nunez race

United are said to be one of the favourites to land in-demand Benfica frontman Darwin Nunez.

Nunez is being linked with a move to the Premier League ahead of this summer, with a number of clubs interested in the Uruguayan.

According to The Athletic, the Red Devils are currently at the front of the race as they look to find a replacement for Edinson Cavani.

Cavani shown the exit door

Cavani is expected to leave United at the end of the season.

The Uruguayan, who has struggled with injury this season, is out of contract at Old Trafford, and his deal will not be confirmed.

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, United have no plans to keep Cavani and no new contract will be offered ahead of the summer.

Johnstone battle

United are chasing a deal for West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, according to reports.

Johnstone is out of contract at The Hawthorns this summer and is not penning a new contract, according to Sky Sports.

United and Tottenham are said to be battling it out for his signature, with the former set to lose number two Dean Henderson this summer.
