Manchester United suffered another injury scare in their 1-1 draw with Burnley at the weekend.
Scott McTominay had only just overcome a fitness concern to be involved in the Premier League double-header against Sheffield United and Burnley last week, before he was forced off through injury on Saturday afternoon.
The Scotland international had initially been brought on to replace Kobbie Mainoo but lasted less than half an hour before he jarred his knee and was replaced by Mason Mount.
It leaves Erik ten Hag sweating over the fitness of another important player in the final matches of the season, though there does look to be some positive injury news on the horizon with a host of key figures close to a return to action.
Here is the latest on those players and their expected return dates...

9. Anthony Martial - 12 May vs Arsenal (H)
Martial is expected to finally return to team training this but who knows if we will ever see him in a United shirt again. He is set to leave this summer so might not even be involved when fit. | Manchester United via Getty Images Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images

10. Tyrell Malacia - June 2024
There was some good news on Malacia as he was spotted undergoing weight sessions last week. He has not played since undergoing knee surgery last summer and then suffered a setback during his rehabilitation which required a further procedure. | IG: @ iiszzyy_ Photo: IG: @ iiszzyy_
