Manchester United are still working on new deals as the new season approaches.

United’s pre-season is almost complete, with a clash with Atletico Madrid still to play this weekend, while a separate group will take on Rayo Vallecano.

Erik ten Hag’s men have enjoyed a pretty successful summer so far, albeit with a slip up in their last outing, in which they drew with Aston Villa.

United’s squad is not complete just yet, though, and the Red Devils will almost certainly add more new faces this summer.

With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford:

Ronaldo demands

The Cristiano Ronaldo situation continues to rumble on.

Ronaldo has been heavily linked with an exit this summer, and the Mail are now saying he has demanded to be released from his contract.

He still has one year remaining on his £300,00-per-week contract, and he is now said to be demanding an exit so that he can play Champions League football.

The tricky part for Ronaldo will be finding a club, which will not be easy given his high earnings.

Neymar links

United are being linked with a big-money move to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar Jr.

The Mirror say Neymar is being linked up as a replacement for Ronaldo, should he leave, and the report follows plenty of reports of the Brazilian’s exit this summer.

According to the report, Neymar will cost £76million if United want to sign him this summer.

Though, of course, the superstar would also come with a huge wage demand to satisfy.

Antony U-turn

United have decided to turn away from the possible signing of Ajax star Antony.

The Brazilian winger has been linked with a Ten Hag reunion throughout this summer, with talk of a £68million price tag.

But journalist Phil Brown says United have now shelved plans to sign Antony, moving on to other targets.
