Manchester United insist the recent January transfer window was a success, but there can be no ignoring the fact they failed to add a forward to their side. Ruben Amorim prioritised the addition of a wing-back, and got one, while he also wanted to add another attacking threat to his squad.
United will make the addition of a striker their priority for the summer and they hope to sign an elite one with the money they saved by hanging fire in the winter. Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres is the obvious choice, while the likes of Victor Osimhen, Liam Delap and even Harry Kane can't all be ruled out.
Amorim also hopes to add another winger to his side, with reports in Portugal stating they are 'certain' to sign Geovany Quenda given his close links to the head coach.
